Garwood resident Leona M Seufert Takes First at 2024 Union County Senior Citizen Exhibit

Leona M Seufert’s art recognized

Garwood resident Leona M Seufert’s digital collage “Celebration” took first place in the 2024 Union County Senior Citizen exhibit, Digital Art category. She is now eligible to have her artwork go on to the NJ State wide competition. “Celebration” is part of her series entitled “When Memories Fade Away”, one of 6 collages she created last year for the 22nd Anniversary of 9/11.

Seufert has been a resident of Garwood for 9 years and is known for her award winning digital collages and her art jewelry. She has been creating digital collages using Photoshop for over 15 years and has had solo exhibits and been in numerous group exhibits in the tri-state area.  

She recently had an exhibit of her unique craft jewelry at the Garwood Library.

Seufert serves on the Garwood Partnership for Arts and Culture (GPAC) committee, a committee established in 2023 to promote the arts in Garwood.
