October 26, 2015, began Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon week is an alcohol, tobacco, drug and violence prevention awareness campaign. Throughout the week, CHK students and staff participated in various activities to increase drug prevention awareness. One activity was called “Don’t get stuck on Drugs.” During lunches, students paid $1.00 to get a 4 foot piece of tape to try to get Mr. Peitz, Mrs. Davidson and Ms. Faro to stick to the wall. All proceeds will be donated to a Children’s Charity.
