On August 3rd Kenilworth resident Frank Bresnahan celebrated his 100th birthday. Tanya from Michigan Avenue Barber Shop, and Jake Dennett, threw him a little celebration, and gave him a free haircut, a toast, and cake.
A Kenilworth resident since June 1948, Frank still lives in the same house at 602 Kingston Ave. which he shared with his late wife Edna. They would have just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on July 28th. Frank’s three children, Dennis, Gerard, and Diane, along with two grandchildren, Kelly, and Jean, Jean’s husband Kevin, and two great-grandchildren, Allison and Collin, travelled from Oklahoma and Illinois to celebrate his 100th.
Frank said he was looking forward to his next 100 years.
