KENILWORTH PUBLIC LIBRARY ADULT PROGRAMS
Join us on Tuesdays, October 3 and 17 at 2-4pm and Tuesday, October 24 at 6:00pm – 7:45pm for our card making group “Paper Pals.” You don’t need any paper crafting experience to join the fun.
“Yarnies” Join us on Thursdays, October 5 & 12 at 2-4pm and Thursday, October 26 at 6:00pm – 7:30pm. You don’t need any crafting experience to enjoy these creative explorations. Feel free to bring a project to work on. Watch demonstrations of knitting, crocheting and weaving.
“Spin – A – Yarn”: Join us on Monday, October 30 at 5:00pm – 7:45pm. Bring your spinning wheel or drop spindle and create beautiful yarns! If you don’t have a wheel, you are still welcome to join us to learn about spinning.
All of these programs are free for adults.

Octoberfest Celebration: Monday, October 2 at 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Ages: 4 – adult.
Join us as we celebrate the season of “Octoberfest” with this interactive program celebrating German Heritage. Enjoy songs sung in English and German, traditional dancing and listening to varied musical instruments. This program will be presented by Richard Stillman.

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: Thursday, October 5 at 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Ages: 4 – adult.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage with traditional music from Spain, along with dances from Spain, Ecuador and Mexico. This program will be presented by Alborada Dance Company.

Pottery Workshop at The Kenilworth Public Library
Thursday, October 12 at 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Ages: 5 – 12
Create your own piece of pottery to take home and display.
This program will be presented by Simone Anthony-Brown, owner of Express Yourself Studios.

Annular Solar Eclipse Event: Saturday, October 14 at 12:30pm – 1:30pm. Ages: 4 – adult
Join us in the library’s parking lotto view the Annular Solar Eclipse. The library will provide special solar eclipse glasses for safe viewing. In the case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.
Yoga Story Time: 10:30am – 11:00am on Wednesday, October 18
Join us for stories and yoga poses for the youngest listeners and their caregiver.
This program will be presented by Heather Valente for ages: 2 – 5.
This program has been funded by The Friends of The Kenilworth Public Library.
Halloween Special Event: Thursday, October 19 at 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Ages: 4- adult.
Join us for this interactive event featuring Jester Jim who will entertain with juggling, beatboxing and more!
All participants are welcome to wear their Halloween costume to this event.
Good Tyme String Band: 10:30am – 11:00am on Wednesday, October 31.
All ages are welcome to attend and enjoy foot tapping knee slapping music.
