Everyone is welcome to attend the fiber crafts monthly program at the Kenilworth Public Library! Yarnies: Library Fiber Nights will take place in the library on the last Thursday of each month from 6:00 to 7:45 pm. You don’t need any crafting experience to enjoy these special evenings of creative exploration. Feel free to bring a project to work on. Watch demonstrations of knitting, crocheting and weaving. Try your hand at spinning on a spinning wheel. Bring a finished item to show others. If you enjoy the fiber arts, or want to learn more about them, this is the event for you.
We have something new for you – Grab ‘n Go kits for charity knit and crochet projects. Pick up a project bag, work on in the item at your leisure and return the completed project to the Kenilworth Public Library. We will donate the items to a local shelter. Big thanks to Karen Freid and Barbara Svachak for putting together the kits.
