Kenilworth Heritage Walkway
The Kenilworth Historical Society has relaunched its campaign to make engraved commemorative bricks available for the Kenilworth Heritage Walkway at the Oswald J. Nitschke House “living history” museum and cultural arts center. More than 100 commemorative bricks have already been engraved and installed.
The 4” x 8” engraved concrete bricks offer an ideal way to honor and preserve the name(s) of families, friends, colleagues, businesses, organizations and others in the paths surrounding the Nitschke House, Kenilworth’s foremost restored historic site and heritage tourism destination. As the engraved bricks make wonderful gifts, gift certificates are available.
The fee to purchase an engraved commemorative brick is $100. Proceeds support the continued restoration, maintenance and operation of the c. 1880 Oswald J. Nitschke House “living history” museum and cultural arts center and help defray the cost of an elevator that makes the site accessible to everyone. For ordering information, please call 908-709-0434 or visit the Kenilworth Historical Society’s Website (www.kenilworthhistoricalsociety.org).
The Kenilworth Historical Society is an independent, volunteer-based, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the research, preservation and interpretation of the historic Oswald J. Nitschke House (c. 1880), local history and culture.
