Kenilworth Board of Health President, Randy M. Moscaritolo, announced that the Michael L. Vitale, Sr. Health Fair will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at St. Theresa’s Elementary School, 540 Washington Avenue, Kenilworth, from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Health Professionals will be providing screenings and educational materials for: Hearing, Vision, Hypertension, Dental, Colorectal Cancer, Vascular Educator, Prostate Health, Posture, Scoliosis, Podiatry, Diabetes and Blood Chemistry (SMAC/CBC), and more.
NOTE: If you are taking the SMAC/CBC blood test, You Must Fast after 12 a.m. the night before. DO NOT TAKE THE DIABETES TEST.
The following immunizations will also be provided at no cost: DPT for ages one to seven years old; MMR-ages 15 months to six years old (three in one vaccine provides protection against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella), Polio vaccine-ages one to eighteen years; Tetanus booster shots for adults.
The SMAC and CBC Blood test will be offered free of charge to Kenilworth Residents and a $30.00 fee for Non-residents. There will also be a $30.00 charge to residents taking PSA (Prostate Screening) and $35.00 to non-residents.
Flu shots will be available at a cost of $20.00 for non-residents.
Fees may be subject to change by the Laboratory.
Snacks provided for individuals having had blood work.
