Mommy, Daddy & Me
a parent and child at-home reading program
for children ages 2 to 5.
I Can Read
a reading program for children who are just starting to read on their own
from ages 6 to 8.
Club Readsalot
a reading program for children ages 9 to 12.
Lap Sit
for ages 0 to 23 months will be held on the following
Tuesdays from 10:30 to 10:50 am:
October 4, 11, 18 & 25; and November 1 & 8.
Lego At The Library
will be held on
Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
for children ages 4-12 years old. Children ages 4-9 years old must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. Each week children will have an opportunity to build their own creative project based on a weekly theme. This program will continue through November 8. Lego at the Library is made possible through a grant from the Walmart Local Giving program.
Toddler Time
for 2 year olds will be held on the following
Wednesdays from 10:30 to 10:50 am:
October 5, 12, 19 & 26; and November 2 & 9.
Stories, puppets and music just right for young listeners will be introduced.
The Good Tymes String Band
will entertain children ages 2 and up and their families
during the October 19th Toddler Time session.
Technology At The Library
will be held on
Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30pm
beginning for ages 9 – 17 years old.
Explore technology and Maker Culture including 3-D printing, Arduino projects and more! Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
PJ Story Time
for children ages 3 and up will be held on the following
Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:00 pm: October 6, 13, 20* & 27* and November 3 & 10.
Children are invited to wear their pajamas to this
program, and bring along a stuffed animal, too.
*Learn About Seeing Eye Dogs
during the October 20th Story Time session. Children will have an opportunity to meet a seeing eye dog in training, and learn how they are used to assist visually impaired people.
*Halloween Story Time Celebration
Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to the
October 27
PJ Story Time session. Halloween stories, crafts, and activities will be presented.
Bingo for Young Children
ages 3 & up will be held on the following
Fridays from 3:30 to 4:00pm
for children ages 3 and up: October 14 & 28 and
November 11. Games may include A-B-C Bingo,
Number Bingo and Color & Shape Bingo.
Bingo for Children Who Can Read
will be held on the following
Fridays from 3:30 to 4:00pm
in the Activity Room:
October 7 & 21; and Nov. 4.
Games may include USA Bingo, History Bingo and Kenilworth Bingo. Parents do not participate in this program.
