The 2017 Winter Reading Program at the Kenilworth Public Library Is underway, and concludes on
Friday, Feb. 17th.
Children who were previously signed up for the Fall Reading Program will automatically be registered. Children must be registered in one of the following programs in order to participate in any other Kenilworth Public Library special event.
Mommy, Daddy & Me
a parent and child at home reading program for children ages 2 – 5.
I Can Read
a reading program for children who are just starting to read on their own from ages 6 – 8.
Club Readsalot
a reading program for children ages 9 – 12.
Registration is required for:
Lap Sit
Will be held on the following Tuesdays
from 10:30 – 10:50am;
Feb. 7 & 14.
for babies ages 0 – 23 months.
Movies At The Library
Will be held on the following Tuesdays
from 3:30 – 4:30pm;
Feb. 7 & 14.
for children ages 4 & up.
Toddler Time
Will be held on the following Wednesdays
from 10:30 – 10:50am; Feb. 8 & 15.
for 2 year olds Stories, puppets and music just right for the youngest listeners will be introduced.
Technology Program
Will be held on the following Wednesdays
from 3:30 – 4:30pm; Feb.1, 8 & 15.
for children and teens ages 9 – 17.
Explore technology and Maker Culture including 3-D printing, Arduino projects and more!
PJ Story Time
Will be held on the following Thursdays from
6:30 – 7:00pm; Feb. 2, 9 & 16.
for children ages 3 and up will be held
Lego At The Library
Will be held on the following Fridays from 3:30 – 4:30pm: Feb. 3 & 17.
for children ages 4 – 12 years old
Children will have an opportunity to design their own Lego creations using thousands of Lego bricks.
Lego at the Library is made possible by donations from the Walmart Local Giving Program and Jackie Fidurski.
Bingo For Young Children
will be held on Friday from 3:30 – 4:00pm
for children ages 3 & up: Feb. 10.
Games may include A-B-C Bingo, Number Bingo and Color & Shape Bingo.
Parents must remain in the library during the program.
