Kaylee Spiteri Of Green Brook a Project Fabricland Winner

The 10th Annual Project Fabricland Fashion Show was held on May 1st at the North Plainfield High School Auditorium, with close to 200 people in attendance. Students at the Fabricland Sewing School designed, created, and modeled their garments based on this year’s theme “Fairy Tales.”
Keeping with the Fairy Tales theme and their long tradition of community service, Fabricland donated the proceeds of the ticket sales to the North Plainfield Memorial Library. At the beginning of the program, Bruce Heyman, owner of Fabricland, presented a $1,000 check to the library’s branch manager, Christal Blue.
Making a celebrity appearance and taking questions from the students, was Dom Streater, a Project Runway All-Star contestant. Information on Project Fabricland, the Fabricland Sewing School and Sewing Summer Camp can be found at fabricland.com or at their location at 855 Route 22 West, North Plainfield.
