Oceans of Possibilities is the theme for Summer Reading at the Mountainside Public Library. Open to adults and children of all ages.
There will be weekly raffles of best sellers and a Grand Prize at the completion of the program. The more you read, the more chances to win.
Join in the fun by stopping by to pick up a registration packet to log your books.
The Mountainside Public Library has scheduled the following programs for July.
Weekly Story Times For Children
Cuddle Storytime
Tuesdays at 10:30am
A story time for young listeners, up to 23 months with their caregivers, siblings are welcome. Simple stories, songs and rhymes are the focus of this lap-sit.
Preschool Storytime
Tuesdays at 2pm.
Story Time with tales from the ocean floor. Ages 3,4 and 5-years-old. Stories, rhymes and songs.
Book Sharing Groups
Wednesdays
Grade K-2 1:00 to 1:45
Grades 3-5 2:00 to 2:45
Grades 6 to 8 3:00 to 3:45.
We give you the books and meet each week to talk about them. Contact Ms. Elizabeth Perrin at eperrin@mountainsidelibrary.org, with the childs name, grade in September, contact phone number and title of their favorite book.
Toddler Story Time
Thursdays at 10:30am
Favorite stories for twos. Siblings are welcome.
Yoga: Story Time
Wednesdays at 10:30
Preschool to Kindergarten.
Movement & Meditation
Thursdays
1:30 Grades 1-3
2:15 Grades 4-6.
