Italian Exchange Students Visit Town Hall
Scotch Plains Township
Exchange students from Reggio Emilia, Italy visited the municipal building in June and met with town leaders, as part of an ongoing program between Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School and its Italian counterparts. The program is organized through Carmela Lambert, a world languages teacher at the high school. Nineteen SP-F students visited Italy in March, hosted by Italian families, attended school, and also visited neighboring cities. Closing the cycle, the Italian students were in downtown Scotch Plains on June 4, taking a short bus trip around and had lunch at Massa Pizza, as part of their big trip to New Jersey.
