Bow Wow Brunch: A Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Home for Good Dog Rescue will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo in style at The Grand Summit Hotel on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Home for Good invites you to enjoy an afternoon of festive food, signature drinks, and exclusive auction prizes at their fourth annual Bow Wow Brunch. Every ticket purchased will benefit the mission to expand the provision of medical care, socialization, and training in a safe and comfortable state-of-the-art facility in Aiken, South Carolina.
The Almost Home Wellness Center will benefit our furry friends, most of whom have been found in high-kill shelters in South Carolina and Georgia where many owners unfortunately do not understand the importance of proper and necessary care of animals. The dogs are then transported to Berkeley Heights, where they are fostered and adopted into loving homes.
“It is through the compassion and generosity of our friends and community partners that we can broaden our impact and save the lives of more dogs than ever before. This brunch is close to the hearts of those who are deeply committed to the mission of Home for Good, and through this event, we hope to engage even more volunteers, fosters, and adopters through awareness, education, and charitable giving. And that effort starts right here, in our own backyard,” states Amy Whitney, Director of Development.
The fourth annual Bow Wow Brunch will be hosted by Michelle Charlesworth of ABC Eyewitness News. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., the event runs until 3:00 p.m.
Tickets for Bow Wow Brunch are on sale at $60 for Adults and $30 for Children who are under 12. Contact Amy Whitney at development@hfgdr.org or 908-263-7358 to reserve your seat or more information.

About Home for Good Dog Rescue
Home for Good Dog Rescue (HFGDR) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization headquartered in Summit with offices in Berkeley Heights, NJ. We rescue dogs from high-kill shelters in the South, transport them to our rescue and give them a second chance at life. As a 100% foster-based rescue, each dog is placed in a loving foster home until adoption. Since our inception in 2010, we have rescued more than 7,000 dogs and given them a loving home for good.
