A new, exclusive experience driven showcase of over 30 vendors
with everything you need to entertain and look your best for the holidays
Please join us for the first annual “Here for the Holidays” Showcase, Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM at 12 Holmes Street, Millburn, NJ. Browse over 30 local vendors from caterers to home décor, to fashion, and salons and spas. Try samples of wine, cheese, hors d’oeurves and sweets. Watch demos on holiday hairstyles and table décor and make your own lip balm. Enjoy a fashion show of fall and winter looks from furs to footwear as well as a performance by Soulfege, the Millburn High School Acapella Group. This event is open to the public and family-friendly, with children’s activities provided by One River School of Millburn. You will walk away with inspired plans for your holidays!
Let your senses run wild with all of the demos, tastings, and entertainment in store for you. Local bakery Taste Buddy of Short Hills will demonstrate artisan pie decorating, but don’t worry, you can try a sample while you watch and buy a pie or two to take home. Do you have a sweet tooth? Sugar Bear is here to help with nostalgic candy for you and contemporary choices for your kids. From sweet to savory, Cara Mia restaurant of Millburn will give you a glimpse of their melt in your mouth catering menu. It wouldn’t be a showcase without wine and cheese, and who better to guide you than Floyd Gray, connoisseur and owner of UnWined Boutique in Millburn. Looking for the perfect serving dishes and charcuterie boards, Karen B. Wolf, owner of K+CO Goods in Short Hills will have plenty of options for you to purchase on the spot.
Being wine and dined is just the start, be prepared to be entertained with live cigar rolling by Tonino Cigars of Short Hills and painting demos with Artevino of Millburn. Make your own lip balm with Teen Skin of Millburn. Pamper yourself with paraffin skin treatments and massages by SLT My Skin of Millburn. Want to be the bell of the ball this holiday season, see the trendiest looks with live hair demos from The Braid Hive and The Presidents Club Barber Shop. Get inspired with a fashion show for the whole family, featuring: Jia Boutique, Schultz & Blaustein, Viviniko, Highline Fashion, Footnotes and Oxford Jewelers. Oxford Jewelers is not only showcasing their goods in the show, but they are also giving you the opportunity to try and buy on-site.
The “Here for the Holidays” Showcase will take place on Thursday, November 3rd, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at 12 Holmes Street, Millburn, NJ. The event is free with a suggested donation to the Millburn Township Food Pantry. Drop in at your convenience as this is an open-house showcase, but you must pre-register. The first 150 people to pre-register will receive a swag bag full of gifts and coupons from the showcase vendors and more. This event is presented by Explore Millburn-Short Hills with support from event sponsors K+CO Goods and Alternative Vision Capital of 12 Holmes Street as well as season partner the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce and season sponsors the Jodi & Joanna Group and The Saritte Harel Team.
Register now for this one-of-a-kind experience, there are limited tickets available! The Kid Zone will be open from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. Swag bags must be picked up by 8:30 PM. Take the train to the Millburn Train Station, just steps from the venue. There are several parking options on Essex Street including Municipal Parking lot 1 at the corner of Short Hills Road, Municipal Lot 2 the Parking Deck at the corner of Lackawanna, and street parking. The snow date for this event is November 10, 2022.
