In honor of the 100th day of school, the students in Mrs. Baker’s 3rd grade class at the Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark, used teamwork, creativity and patience while constructing a tower of marshmallows and toothpicks. The students were posed with a challenge – create the tallest structure possible that can stand up using 100 marshmallows and 50 toothpicks.
“It was amazing to see how well the students worked together and used their creative thinking to make a structure,” explained Mrs. Baker. “All the students in the third grade had a great time learning and marking 100 days of learning.”
