Collection to Help Those in the Ukraine
Clark Public Schools
Students at Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark recently participated in a collection to help those in the Ukraine. FKH parent Amy Colineri partnered with the organization Be The Change and started a collection to help displaced families in Ukraine receive some basic essentials. The Hehnly community stepped up and went above and beyond! Diapers, medical supplies, women’s self-care items, blankets, towels, sports drinks and stuffed animals were just some of the items collected. In addition, Ms. Anabela Casimiro’s 5th grade class made inspirational cards for the families and Mrs Colineri’s daughters made bracelets to be given out to the children. All of the items collected will be shipped to Poland as well as certain parts of Ukraine to then be distributed to the families in need.
