Thanks to the Scotch Plains and Fanwood recreation commissions, this event is put on every year. It was a night of goblins, ghosts, zombies and more as attendees celebrated Halloween Saturday with a wide range of festivities. The celebration kicked off with a performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow outside the Fanwood Memorial Library, followed by the annual parade to LaGrande Park, where the costume and pumpkin-carving contests were judged. Prizes were awarded for the best costumes and the best jack-o-lanterns! Free cider, donuts and coffee were also available.
