Gavin Costello Joins the GBFD
The Green Brook Fire Department welcomes their newest graduate Gavin Costello from Morris County Fire Academy. Gavin recently completed the 200 hour Fire Fighter 1 program, the first level of training for new Firefighters.
New Firefighters are introduced to the basics of nationally recognized firefighting techniques. Training includes classroom theory as well as skill oriented “hands‑on” drill sessions. All students receive instruction in Fire Fighter Health & Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Radio Communications, and other operational levels of training.
