Grand Opening Celebration for The New DiMario Park Playground

The public is invited to attend the Grand Opening Celebration for the new DiMario Park Playground and the renovated facilities; both located Michigan Avenue, on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at 1 p.m.
“I am really excited about this revitalization of DiMario Park! These enhancements were possible in part through the Union County Kids Recreational Trust Grant, the Borough of Kenilworth, the generosity of volunteers and local businesses! The new playground installation was a community build, supervised by Picerno-Giordano Construction, which supports the community in being active and connected!” said Mayor Anthony DeLuca.
The playground includes equipment for both young and older children. The playground’s modern, multicolored theme was chosen to symbolize the vibrant and diverse community.
“I am really excited about the opening of the new DiMario Park playground. It’s a project that we have been working on for some time. It is a place for kids and families to play and meet. To see it come to fruition, knowing the families that will enjoy it, that is what it’s all about.” said Councilwoman Kay Ceceri.
