Clark Girl Scout Troop 40138 recently earned their Bronze Award by making blankets for cancer patients.
The girl scouts wanted to do something that would help in the battle against cancer. They had learned that during chemotherapy treatments patients couldfeel cold and the blankets would help to keep them warm. They contacted the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life for Cranford and Clark and distributed the blankets to the cancer survivors during the event held this spring.
