Getting Stuffed for a Good Cause
The Sherman School PTA 5th Grade Luncheon committee held a “Get Stuffed Bread FUNraiser” with Roselle Park small business IORIO Deli. Customers purchased Gilda’s famous stuffed breads while Sherman School parents delivered them to their doorstep.
The 5th grade luncheon received 10% of sales and kept the delivery tips. Sherman School PTA parent and Fundraiser Organizer, Paula Santiago said, “The Sherman 5th grade luncheon thanks Gilda (cutest nonna ever) for supporting our children. Thank you to the community for supporting us; our parents had a great time delivering the stuffed breads!”
Owner Gilda DeIorio was happy with the overwhelming response. “People love my stuffed breads because I put love in every time I make them, just like my mother did in Italy when I was a kid.”
