The Fanwood Police Department Presents, “Get Fit with Fanwood’s Finest”
The Fanwood Police Department, with the Fanwood Grant Writer, have secured a grant from the First Responders Children’s Foundation. The foundation supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.
This grant will subsidize a program we will be offering to Fanwood and Scotch Plains students in grades 5 – 8 called Get Fit With Fanwood’s Finest. Children will work out alongside our officers, some whom are trained by the Union County Emergency Response Team. The program will consist of a daily work out, a brief topical dialogue, and a few guest speakers.
The free program will run the week of August 26 – August 30, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
