Lincoln School Student’s Artwork Chosen to Tour Union County
Mrs. Planer, the art teacher at Lincoln School in Garwood, is thrilled to announce that one of her 8th grade students, Amanda Doggett, will have her artwork featured in the 2019 Union County Teen Arts Touring Exhibit. Her pen and watercolor creation titled “Whimsical Wonderland” caught the eye of many at the Teen Arts Festival that was held at Union County College in March and it was selected from a pool of hundreds of visual art submissions. Amanda is a creative, outside-of-the-box student whose talents are shown off through her work in the Yearbook Club and participation in the Advanced Art class at Lincoln School. The Union County Teen Arts Touring Exhibit is a 10-month touring exhibit where select visual artworks are showcased at libraries, corporations, galleries, and public buildings, giving the public the opportunity to view the talent of Union County teen artists.
