Join Miss Maryanne for stories, bubbles, and more at 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. in the Library. Registration required. Limit: 10 per session
Virtual Kid’s Craft
Tuesday, April 5 at 3 p.m.
Pick up supplies for the craft and then watch the craft tutorial on the Library’s Facebook page at 3 p.m. The video will be available for viewing thereafter. Registration required for craft kits. Limited: 15. Sign up on the Library website’s events calendar or by phone.
Library Board Meeting
Wednesday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m.
A meeting of the Garwood Library Board of Trustees will take place in the Library. Open to the public.
New Jersey State Parks
Thursday, April 7 at 7 p.m.
As the weather warms, our thoughts turn to the outdoors. It is the perfect time to join author and lecturer, Mark Vogel, as he discusses New Jersey State Parks. The lecture will include original photographs of many of NJ’s beautiful state parks, plus vintage maps, and historic images of people, places, and events. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A. Once registered, a Zoom link will be provided.
Classic Movie Friday
Friday, April 8 and 29 at 12 p.m.
Join us for the first in a series of Classic Movie Fridays featuring memorable movies from the 50s and 60s. Light refreshments will be served.
Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, April 9 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
The Library will be one of the stops on the town-wide Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt. Come by and take home an egg and a bunny hat.
Virtual Adult Craft

Union County Libraries Speaker Series

Film: Bag It
Saturday, April 23 at 10:30 a.m.
The Garwood Green Team and the Library team up to bring you a film about a man trying to go a day without plastic. In this touching and often flat-out-funny film, we follow “everyman” Jeb Berrier as he embarks on a global tour to unravel the complexities of our plastic world. Also, information will be available on New Jersey’s plastic bag ban set to take effect May 4.
