New Library Board; Promises Exciting Support for Community Programs

Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library New Board

The Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library, a dedicated group committed to enriching the community’s access to educational and cultural resources, is thrilled to announce the appointment of its new board: Amanda Malool, President; Christine Szeluga, Vice-President; Debra Murphy, Treasurer; and Fiona Stephens, Secretary. With renewed enthusiasm, this board is poised to provide steadfast support for summer reading programs, public events, and the beloved free museum pass program, among other initiatives.

The newly appointed board members are eager to serve and make a lasting impact on the community by fostering a love for literature and learning.

“Our dedicated board members are excited to serve the Scotch Plains community by supporting the library’s summer reading programs, public events, and our highly popular museum pass program,” said Christine Szeluga, Vice-President of the Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library. “We are also thrilled to announce our partnerships with local businesses, which will provide exclusive benefits to our members. We invite everyone to join us at our public meetings.”

Public meetings will be held on October 16, November 13, and December 18 at 7pm in the Scotch Plains Public Library meeting room, where members and non-members alike are invited to attend and learn more about the organization’s goals and upcoming programs.
