Book Sale – April 28 – 30
Friends of the Cranford Public Library
For great books at bargain prices, come to the Friends of the Cranford Public Library’s upcoming book sale from April 28 to April 30 at the Friendly Book Cellar. All books will be sold at bargain prices. Most young children’s books will be priced at 25 cents and 50 cents. Books for adults and older children, CDs, DVDs, as well as recorded books will be priced at only $1 or $2. Only a few special books will be priced higher. All books will be easy to find because they are arranged alphabetically.
The dates and times of the sale are: Thursday, April 28 from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m., Friday, April 29 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30 is Bag Day—you can purchase a large bag of books for just $8.
When the pandemic started, the Friends reduced the number of people at its book sales. This turned out to have a wonderful effect on attendees who said that the lack of crowds made their shopping easier and more enjoyable than it had ever been. Because of this, the Friends will continue to regulate attendance, so please make sure you register early.
In order to keep everyone safe, all attendees are required to wear a mask. Only people who wear masks will be allowed into the sale.
