Angel Martinez visits the Watchung Library often with his Mom and brother. Having received an early morning call saying that he won the Gift of Reading Raffle prize basket, Angel’s mom kept the surprise until Angel arrived at the library after school.
During November, each visit to the library to pick up books or participate in a program earned the visitor a raffle ticket for the Gift of Reading prize basket give-away. The basket contained books for children from preschool through middle school, along with a few plush animal reading buddies. Several books had been autographed by their authors.
Congratulations to Angel and his family for their love of reading! And thanks to all the visitors to Watchung Library who participated in the program.
