Special Olympics Torch Run 2023
Florham Park PBA
Members of the Florham Park PBA joined by members of the NJ Department of Law & Public Safety participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting the New Jersey Special Olympics. The event was held on Friday, June 9th, 2023.
The Florham Park team accepted the torch handoff from Livingston PBA Local 263 at the Stifel Nicolaus building. The team ran 2.75 miles throughout the town ending at the American Legion, and the passing of the torch to Madison PBA Local 92.
The runners were escorted by motor units from surrounding towns, NJSP and fellow members of the Florham Park Police Department. Runners were also joined by members of East Hanover PBA and Livingston PBA who ran with them. Multi Gold Medal Special Olympian Steve Kryspin was also in attendance cheering on the team.
