Florham Park Public Library Summer Reading 2024
The national theme for summer reading this year is “Adventure Begins at Your Library.” The Florham Park Public Library is encouraging readers of all ages to enjoy adventures both in the pages of books, and in their daily lives! Readers who participate in the reading challenge and log their reading throughout the summer will earn chances to win prizes at the end of the summer. The more you read, the better the chances of winning! For extra chances to win, Florham Parkers’ can bring this summer’s summer reading mascot, Flork the alien, with them on their adventures and present a photo of Flork enjoying summer activities at the circulation desk.
This year’s program features a wide range of events that appeal to people of all ages. For kids, outdoor movie night, ninja obstacle course, planetarium event, bubble show, and a knights and armor demonstration are sure to entertain. Adults are encouraged to participate in the Library’s annual “Hot Titles” book group, which reads one bestseller, one critic’s pick, and one award-winning book in June, July, and August. See the Library’s event calendar to learn more about all the events offered throughout the coming months. florhamparklib.org/events
