The February meeting of the Cranford College Women’s Club will feature a program on Nutrition and Healthy Aging presented by Natalie Capoccia. The meeting will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church on Springfield Avenue in Cranford. The meeting starts at 7 PM with refreshments followed by the speaker. The meeting is open to the public.
Natalie Capoccia will discuss the important vitamins, minerals, and “super foods” that are vital to our bodies as we age. She will provide handouts, give-aways and samples. Natalie is the Retail Dietitian at the Shop Rite of Garwood. She is a graduate of Montclair State University with a BS in nutrition/dietetics and a minor in psychology. She attended the College of Saint Elizabeth where she completed her Dietetic Internship which is a 1200 hour supervised practice in hospitals, the community, and food service. She has been employed at Shop Rite as the dietitian for the past year. She is currently in graduate school for nutrition at the College of Saint Elizabeth.
