Fasting Blood Test Clinic – Dec. 6th
The Linden Public Library in conjunction with the city of Linden’s Health Department will be conducting fasting blood tests for residents at the library. The clinic will be held from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the Linden Public Library, located at 31 East Henry Street in Linden.
Elevated morning glucose levels, or hyperglycemia, are often an advanced sign of either pre-diabetes or of diabetes itself. Testing one’s blood glucose before eating in the morning is an important first step to identifying your potential risks for these serious health conditions. We encourage anyone interested in taking advantage of this free clinic to fast before arriving at the library so accurate levels can be detected.
