The last Borough Council meeting of 2018 was Jack Molenaar’s last meeting after nine years serving on the Council. He didn’t run for reelection because he said his work on Council is done. “I left things better than when I arrived,” he said. Jack’s major accomplishments include leading the downtown redevelopment and getting curbside recycling before the Council for passage. Jack is Transportation Director for Rutgers University and a city planner. He will remain a member of the Fanwood Planning Board, where he has served for 15 years. His name will be added to a plaque documenting all of Fanwood’s Council members. Jack has served with 15 of them.
