Fanwood Performance Series
Singer-songwriters and indie bands will take the stage as the Fanwood Performance Series presents three concerts this fall.
On October 8, Nashville-based singer-songwriter-keyboardist Kate Klim will perform her “sad songs sprinkled with hope,” including selections from her new album, “Something Green.” Plus, Andrew Delaney brings his darkly witty “post-modern anti-folk” to round out the show.
The November 12 show will feature the Afro-Peruvian jazz sounds of Forbidden Tropics, a five-piece band from Central New Jersey, along with Matt Bednarsky, a world-traveling troubadour now based in eastern Pennsylvania.
All shows start at 7 p.m. at the Patricia M. Kuran Cultural Arts Center, also known as the Old Carriage House, on Watson Road alongside Fanwood Borough Hall. The suggested donation for admission is $15, or $10 for students and seniors.

The series is presented by Mayor Colleen Mahr and the Fanwood Borough Council, with financial support from the Union County Board of Commissioners’ HEART grant program and the donations of attendees.
