Ladies Night Out
Borough of Fanwood
Several hundred residents, mostly women, turned out for Ladies Night Out in downtown Fanwood on June 2nd. The threat of rain didn’t keep the folks away, and then it didn’t rain. Local and regional vendors setup shop under a tent in the plaza between Fanwood Crossing I and II. Local businesses including the Fanwood Larder, Fanwood Optical and Monk’s hosted giveaways, food and wine offerings. There was a food crawl featuring local restaurants Sheelen’s Crossing and Fabio’s and a raffle. The event was sponsored by the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Borough. Mayor Colleen Mahr, Councilwoman Kathy Mitchell, Redevelopment Director Liz Jeffery and Police Director Mike Bramhall were all in attendance.
