F- SP Service League Thrift Shop Sidewalk Sales
Weather permitting, the Fanwood – Scotch Plains Service League Thrift Shop, 1741 East 2nd St. Scotch Plains, will continue its Saturday only sidewalk sales through Saturday, August, 22. Sale hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Due to the CoronaVirus, the shop is closed during the week and is not opened during the Sidewalk Sale.
Tables will be set up offering as much merchandise as can be accommodated. Books, household items, domestics, men’s and women’s clothing, handbags, and a limited amount of children’s clothing will be available. Some jewelry, children’s games and toys will also be available.
Shop volunteers will do their best to provide a positive shopping experience. Dressing rooms will not be available. Please do not ask volunteers to look for items inside the store. All store rules will be in effect. Cash only, preferably small denominations, no refunds, no holding of items. Please respect the limited space. If possible, limit the number of shoppers and children with you. Per the Governor’s order masks will be required.
For the safety and well being of our shoppers and staff, at this time we will not be able to accept donations.
Following August 22, it has not been determined if the Thrift Shop will reopen. The Service League is working on plans to reopen but at this time is not ready to announce such plans. Please do not call. Return calls cannot be guaranteed.
