Autumn Activities with the Kenilworth Historical Society
The Kenilworth Historical Society is gearing up for an array of exciting autumn activities, including Kenilworth’s annual Communitywide Garage Sale (October 5-6); a Prohibition-themed tour, “living history” program and exhibit (“Teetotalers and Bootleggers – Prohibition in America”) during “Four Centuries in a Weekend at the Nitschke House” (October 19-20); bus trips to the spectacular Mohegan Sun casino (October 26) and to the enchanting holiday destination of Bethlehem, Pa. (December 7); a suspenseful yet entertaining “Roaring Funnies” 1920s-style Whodunit Mystery Dinner and Show with a “local twist,” featuring some of “Kenilworth’s own” officials/residents (November 15); various Painting Nights (dates to be announced); and a festive holiday open house and “An Old-Fashioned Christmas” at the Oswald J. Nitschke House featuring Victorian Santa, a Christkindlmarkt and more (December 8).
