Watchung Family Walk
Watchung Recreation and Watchung Board of Health invite local families to gather for a patriotic Watchung Family Walk around Watchung Lake on Sunday July 4th at 12 PM. Families will meet at Mobus Field (49 Brookdale Rd, Watchung) with representatives from local first responder and volunteer organizations like the Watchung PBA, Watchung Fire Department, Watchung Rescue Squad, and CERT team. A walk around Watchung Lake will follow, cheered on by Fire, Rescue, and Police vehicles.
Come dressed to impress in your Red, White, and Blue! Prizes will be given to Most Patriotic Child, Most Patriotic Family, and Most Patriotic Pet! Thanks to Watchung’s newest establishment, Playa Bowls, for their sponsorship of the awards.
