Union Public Library Celebrates Money Smart Week with

Presentation on Preventing Investment Fraud

(March 21, 2019) According to the North American Securities Administrators Association, fraud siphons billions of dollars from investors, big and small, every year. Victims include the highly-educated, senior citizens, those with higher incomes and those just getting by — in other words, just about anyone. How do you know when something is just too good to be true?

Union Public Library will celebrate Money Smart Week with “An Investment in Knowledge”, a presentation designed to help consumers from all demographics and income levels better manage their personal finances. Presented by the New Jersey Bureau of Securities, this program will help you protect yourself from investment fraud and what to do if a problem occurs.

The program takes place on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 6:30-7: 30pm.at the Main Library, 1980 Morris Avenue in Union.

Money Smart Week began as a coordinated effort of the Money Smart Advisory Council designed to help consumers from all demographics and income levels better manage their personal finances.
