Evan Schulz, a volunteer EMT for the Cranford First Aid Squad, has been awarded the Gail Lawrence Scholarship by the EMS Council of New Jersey.
The $1,000 Gail Lawrence Scholarship is awarded to EMSCNJ affiliated volunteers earning advanced degrees in any medical field. The grant was established in memory of Lawrence, a mobile intensive care nurse, advanced practice nurse, and educator with Rutgers University.
Evan, a graduate of the State University of New York, is pursuing an advanced degree as a Physician Assistant at Arcadia University in Glenside PA.
