Lil’ Bookworms – Wednesday, May 1 at 5 pm
Kids will share their love of reading, learn to talk about the books they’re reading, and be motivated to read. Ages: 5-8
Koinobori for Children’s Day – Thursday, May 2 at 5 pm
Celebrate Children’s Day with storytime and craft. This day is all about being your happiest self and having fun!
Toddlers World – Friday, May 3, 17, & 24 at 11 am
An hour of fun songs to sing, music, and playtime!
Adult Chess Club – Friday, May 3, 17, & 24 at 12:30 pm
Join the Adult Chess Club every Friday at 12:30pm! Regardless of your skill level, beginners are welcome to participate. We hope to see you there!
Matinee Movie – Friday, May 3, 17, & 24 at 2 pm
At 2pm, don’t miss out on the fun! Join us for a Matinee Movie at Elmora Branch Library. It’s going to be a great time! This month’s showtime is “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” on 5/3, “Minari” on 5/17, & “The Farewell” on 5/27.
Free Comic Book Day – Saturday, May 4 (All Day)
Mark it on your calendar for this amazing event! One of the best times of the year is free comics in partnership with Free Comic Book Day! Take a free comic book while supplies last.

Zumba Gold – Monday, May 6, 13, & 20 and Thursday, May 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30 at 9 am

Computer Class – Monday, May 6, 13, & 20 at 10:30 am
Computer classes at Elmora Branch Library are free to the public and no registration is required. Also, One-on-One Computer Help is available only via registration for 1 hour on Mondays @12pm-1pm.
Crochet with Sol – Monday, May 6 & 20 and Tuesday, May 7 & 21 at 12 pm
Learn the tips and tricks with Ms. Sol She will teach you everything you need to know to get started, from fundamental stitches to understanding gauge.
Mahjong – Monday, May 6, 13, & 20 from 1 pm – 4 pm
Everyone who loves Mahjong is welcome to come & play at the library. Bring friends or come alone & find new partners. We’ll provide the space for open play. A minimum of 4 players are required to play the game.

Stitch & Chat – Tuesday, May 21 at 10 am and Wednesday, May 22 at 5 pm
Come to Elmora to mend your clothing. Bring the article you need help with and assistance will be provided.
Bridge for Beginners – Tuesday, May 21 at 1 pm
All skill levels are welcome to join the library for Bridge – a challenging trick-taking card game played with a standard 52-card deck by four players in two partnerships sitting opposite each other around a table. Stop by with your own deck of cards!
Adult Scrabble – Thursday, May 23 at 2:30 pm
Word lovers! Exercise your B-R-A-I-N (7 points) by playing Scrabble with other like-minded adults.
