Columbus Day celebrated in Elizabeth
The Elizabeth Chapter of UNICO participated in celebrating Columbus Day on Monday, October 9, 2023. Attendees met at Sacco’s Meat Market, 806 Third Avenue, located in the Peterstown section of the city. A procession walked to the Christopher Columbus statue, located in O’Brien Field on the corner of Third Avenue and South 7th Street. After the wreath laying ceremony, attendees were invited back to Saccos for lunch.
