Nicholas Christian has earned his “Duty To God” award. He has worked very hard over the last four months with both his family, and Deacon Phil Gonzalez, his religious advisor from St. John’s the Evangelist of Dunellen, NJ.
After much hard work, and personal growth, he has received the right to wear the religious emblem on his scout uniform. Like all scouts who have received a religious award, he may now wear the Scouting universal religion award of the square knot on his uniform. He may continue to wear the square knot as adult scout leader later in life.
Congratulations on your accomplishment Nicholas. You have lived the scout oath, and the scout law well.
A special thank you goes to Deacon Phil for all the time spent with Nicholas to accomplish this award.
