Dr. Pizzuto Gets Published

Congratulations to GLHS Spanish teacher Dr. Daria Pizzuto, who recently co-authored an article published in the peer-reviewed journal Kappa Delta Pi Record. The article, “Building Global Friendships: Pen Pals in Spain and the United States”, explores an interpersonal global writing exchange between middle school students in Spain and the United States and how the program helped to develop students’ skills in world languages, cultural awareness, sensitivity, and communication.
Dr. Pizzuto earned her Ph.D. from Seton Hall University in 2018 and joined the GLHS faculty in the Fall of 2021 where she teaches Spanish 2 and Spanish 3 honors, and moderates the new Eastern European Cultures club.
