Cranford First Aid Squad Annual Fund Drive

The Cranford First Aid Squad fundraising letter has been mailed to all Cranford residents.
It is a surprisingly common misconception that the First Aid Squad is part of the Cranford Township and that it is funded by tax dollars. This is not the case.
The Cranford First Aid Squad is an all volunteer, independent non-profit agency which must raise all its own funding for its operation. We own and maintain our building and ambulances. It is an expensive undertaking.
We responded to 1044 calls in 2018. Our average response time is approximately 1 minute 40 seconds. We transported nearly 700 patients to 11 different facilities. We do not and never have billed our patients.
