Troop 68 of Union, NJ recently had their Annual Scout Sunday at the Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church. his included not just Cub scouts and Boys Scouts but Girl Scouts also. This was a really great turn out to see the many scouts, leaders and the parents with friends and family members. Along with the flag ceremony at the beginning of service, a few scouts participated in the reading of the scripture and Mr. James Pierce of Union, NJ sang a solo during the service. Mr. Alex Rivera also said a few words to the congregation. We are thankful to the Pastor of the Church, Rev. Roberta Arrowsmith for always opening the doors to the many events for the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Scout Sunday was a very memorable service with Mr. John Griffin, the Charter Representative making note that Mr. Patrick Lewis, the Scoutmaster for Troop 68 has served for 20 years in the Troop. This was a great occasion for the scouts to join with him. Scout Sunday is just another opportunity to see how wonderful the scouts come together on scouting events and learn from every experience. The awesome picture seen with this article speaks volumes regarding the attendance.
