On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 a fireworks display will be the highlight of Cranford’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration. The day-long community festival will offer something for everyone, including canoe races, a one-mile fun run and a four-mile run, plus food vendors in the park. There will also be amusement rides and games.
The festivities will begin at 8:00 a.m. with canoe races scheduled at the Cranford Canoe Club, 250 Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ. Registration will be immediately before the races at 7:30am on July 4th at the Canoe Club.
The Jaycees will conduct their Annual Firecracker Run beginning with a one-mile Fun Run at 8:30am and a four-miler at 9:00am at Nomahegan Park, Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ. For more info regarding registration and the race go to www.cranfordjaycees.com.
The fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. at Nomahegan Park, Cranford, NJ. Limited parking will be available at Union County College, 1033 Springfield Ave, Cranford, NJ, however, residents are urged to walk if possible.
