The Cranford Public Library will be starting its fall story time session in September, and we’ve got something for everyone!
Babies ages 3-12 months are invited to join us for our first ever “Lapsit Story Time” on Monday mornings at 10:15. This story time, designed for our youngest library users, is a perfect way for babies and caregivers to bond while encouraging essential early literacy practices. We’ll be sharing songs and a short book or two. The program will run from September 18 through October 23.
Our preschool-aged friends can get school ready at the library! Our “3-4-5 Story Time” will be held each Tuesday morning at 10:15 from September 19-October 24. This enriching story time will help nourish a love of reading by introducing both classic and new books and some fun songs.
Our walkers—children ages 13-23 months— are invited to join us for “Baby Story Time.” This short, lively story time is sure to engage our young friends! We’ll be introducing new songs, stories, and sounds from September 20-October 25.
Our two-year-old friends and their caregivers are invited to join us for “Toddler Story Time” on Thursday mornings at 10:15. We’ll be sharing simple, developmentally appropriate stories and singing a few tunes from September 21 through October 26.
Join us for “Farm Fun,” a special Saturday story time, featuring rhymes, songs, puppets, and audience participation! This program is perfect for children ages 3-5, and will be held on September 30 at 10:15 a.m. in the Library’s Raddin Room.
The library does not require registration for story time, but we ask that participants arrive on time as latecomers are not guaranteed admittance. Thanks to the Library’s Friends Group, our programs are always free.
