Admission to these events is free and all Cranford residents are welcome. Registration is required.
Story Time Yoga
Sessions will be held on
Monday mornings at 10:15
from October 31 through December 19.
The Cranford Public Library will be hosting “Story Time Yoga” featuring Lisa Ferraro. The program mixes poses, games, storytelling, art and music to teach children to release the sillies and find the calm.
Children ages 2-5 will use props—like balls, scarves, pinwheels and pom-poms—to build strength, flexibility, and self-confidence through play.
Yoga is a wonderful outlet: it encourages play while providing children with an opportunity to express themselves in a safe environment. It’s also an excellent way to learn healthy physical and mental habits that can be practiced for a lifetime!
Family M.E.S.S.
(Math, Engineering, and Science Saturday)

Family M.E.S.S. (Math, Engineering, and Science Saturday), the award winning early literacy program, is returning to the Cranford Public Library. Children ages 2-6 and their families will explore educational stations together, where they will be introduced to scientific concepts, solve problems, and have fun! This month we’ll be creating “fizzy colors,” building fine motor function with eyedroppers, and engineering letters using magnetic tiles.
Touch the Music presents The Nutcracker!

The amazing Ms. Claudia will be visiting us for a special all ages family program. She’ll share stories and music, and end with a chance for children to get hands on with some instruments! in the Cranford Community Center. Free tickets will be available in the Children’s Department beginning October 29th.

Looking for something to do during Teachers’ Convention? Come learn about the basics of recycling with educator Patty Lynn. Grades 3-6.
