Annual Coat Drive

Cranford Knights of Columbus

For the second year in a row, the Cranford Knights Columbus supported the Franciscan Charities Annual Coat Drive, led by Brother Knight Keith Santulli. St. Michael’s Church parishioners generously donated over 150 coats, hats, gloves, and assorted clothing.

Collection and sorting were conducted over several weeks with the distribution event taking place on Saturday November 11th where Brother Knights assisted as personal shoppers and event coordinators.  Keith and his Cranford Knights Team participated by sorting and distributing over 800 coats, 500 hats, gloves and socks to needy families in Newark’s Central Ward.

The Council also made a monetary donation to the Drive to further support this worthy cause and ministry. For more information visit franciscancharitiesinc.org.
