Cranford HS Alumnus in Award Winning Indie Film

Pigasus Pictures announces the release of the film “The Good Catholic”, starring Danny Glover, John C. McGinley, Zachary Spicer and Wrenn Schmidt in over 20 cities nationwide and various screenings abroad beginning September 8th. The romantic comedy won best picture at the Santa Barbara film festival and Best Screenplay at the Milan International Film Festival in 2017. The film was shot in Bloomington, Indiana and features the Indiana University acapella group, Another Round, formerly Straight No Chaser.
Cranford High School graduate class of 2013, Jake Forrestal, has a featured role in a pivotal scene in the film. Jake was a PaperMill Conservatory member for over 8 years and was nominated for a Rising Star Award – Best Performance in a musical in 2013. Jake graduated Indiana University in May 2017 with a double major in Journalism and Political Science and is currently working at Gust in New York City.
